I would just like to thank all the members of the Baptist Church for being so warm and welcoming to non members, and for all you do willingly to be involved with our local community events. I love the input you have had in our Christmas Event since year one, and the energy you put into the personally made gifts which you give to everyone who attends. Looking forward to your input again at this years Gala Day :-) Keep up the good work, you are an amazing group of people. Thank you.
I'm not a member but I have attended the church for various meetings and talks. It is a lovely place and you always receive a warm welcome. My Mum and her sisters have taken their grandkids to the playgroup over the past 3 years and have said it's a great place and they look after you well. Why not pop along and see for yourself what a great place it is.
Although not a member of the congregation I find the Church accepting people of all faiths. The community certainly benefits from the many activities and events organised by the Church.
As a member of Denny Baptist Church I don't recognise the description given by Mr Maxwell. The church is heavily involved in the community, hosting local residents group, Alcoholics Anonymous, Community Council meeting, Tots and Toddlers Groups. We also collect food for the Food Bank and enjoy getting involved with the Denny Gala Day. I find the church to be a warm, friendly and welcoming place
Very into themselves, tends to be middle class plus attendees, not really interested in any local people around the church, prefers to get involved in things that make them look good, will tolerate those with social problems, but don't expect to get involved unless you manage to befriend the "right" people.
